Moved from Coldwater, Michigan in the late '70's to pursue his dream of making a living playing music. He refined his harmonica skills while traveling and busking the streets of Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans. His rich, expressive sound and precise bending made his mentor, Paul Butterfield, smile. Moved from Coldwater, Michigan in the late '70's to pursue his dream of making a living playing music. He refined his harmonica skills while traveling and busking the streets of Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans. His rich, expressive sound and precise bending made his mentor, Paul Butterfield, smile. Dave finally settled in Tampa and made the Bay Area his home in 1977 with the Paradine McDonald Band, and later the Nite Fox Band. He's never looked back.
